What if my sitter won't give me back my house key?
My sitter was supposed to bring my key back to me a couple of days ago, but she never came by and is now avoiding my messages. How can I get my key back?
Contact Rover's support team. They will get a hold of her and possibly remove her account, or at least get your money back if it's after a stay. Hopefully threats of those actions will make her get back to you.
I had something like this happen but I was the one who had the key and didn’t know it. It was extremely embarrassing. My husband and I moved and didn’t realize I still had one of my client’s keys, not knowing what this random key went to. I realized it I messaged them right away and got it to them.
