Does Rover screen potential clients?
It's GREAT that the pet sitters get screened and have background checks done, but how do we know the potential client who contacted us is safe? Who protects us?

Largely, you need to use your intuition to protect yourself. To my knowledge, Rover just collects name, address, email, and credit card info and encourages the pet profile completion. It seems that most people are looking for pet sitters/walkers. However, it's up to each of us to stay safe. You may already be doing the following to do so: Ask questions to learn more before agreeing to meet, Meet in a public place before going inside, Set an appointment time to check in with a friend following the end of the meeting.
