I need someone who will give my dog insulin injections for two days. Are there specific dog/house sitters who do so?

My dog was just recently diagnosed with diabetes but she's doing great. I need a house/dog sitter who will give my dog injections for two days.

When you do your search for a sitter, there isn't a specific filter for those who can give injections, although you will see it listed in the sitter's profile. About the closest filter you can use is Dog First-Aid Certified. Then go through the sitter's profiles. Under additional skills, look for Injected Medication Administration. There are many vet techs and similarly qualified individuals on Rover so you shouldn't have any difficulty finding one.

If that is too much of a bother, let RoverGo search for a qualified sitter for you.

How much does it cost for somebody to give my dog insulin injections twice a day

Margarita, you need to ask the specific sitters what they will charge. Rover does not set prices for any service.

Great question! This is definitely something that RoverGO can help with. A lot of the sitters with the RoverGO program have flexible and open availability or work from home, and a lot are even Vet technicians! If you are looking for a sitter to provide a little extra medical care, you can search sitter profiles for RoverGO members as well as those who have medication administration experience. You can search for the second value by searching, going to additional skills, and look for injected medication administration as an option.
