Are Rover sitters bonded and insured?
I'm looking for a sitter to stay with my dog in my home. I'm looking for details on the sitters

All Rover sitters and their clients are covered by the Rover insurance program when the booking is done on the Rover web site. Sitters also undergo a background check prior to their approval to join Rover. Rover sitters are not bonded as we are not employees, we are all independent contractors; bonding covers employees of a business.
Rover highly recommends you contact a few sitters through a booking request and then meet with them in what we call a Meet and Greet. If you are comfortable with the sitter and them with you the booking can be accepted.

All correct EXCEPT Sitters or any family members are NOT insured, just the dog. Sitters assume their personal risk. Sitters are not employees, they are classified as contractors.
