Meet and Greet necessary?

I'm driving from DC to PA for a family reunion and staying with my sister, she is not able to board my fur buddy... and due to lack of avail in the DC area, I'm looking to board my fur-buddy at the destination instead.

Is a meet and greet required?

I believe meet and greets are essential, I as a sitter like to make sure my clients are good match because I do have my own dog. Unfortunately not everyone fills out the pet profiles a meet is a perfect way to ask questions. Does the sitter have other pets that might not get along with yours? When I do my meet and greets I usually like to do them in a neutral place a dog park. Even if the sitter doesn't have other pets it's still a good idea to meet to make sure your fur babies are a match.
