How do you delete messages from your inbox?

My inbox is overflowing with every conversation I ever had with a sitter. They are from over a year ago and from my dog who has passed away. How can I delete them?

This is stupid. If I don't want to move forward with an option, I should be able to close out the conversation and remove the request. Why is this not something I can manage?

Apparently you can't delete messages as an owner. They will archive after the scheduled request begins.
