what all is involved in house sittin does they stay all day and night, how many hours, I would like someone full time ??

Each sitter is independent and sets his/her own policies and hours for house sitting stays. This is something you would need to discuss with the sitter prior to them accepting the request.

Most sitters will stay overnight in the client's home, usually from around 6-7 pm to 6-8 am. Some sitters will stay in your home the majority of the stay, some come and go. For example, I move into the client home and stay there the entire time. But I do require that I be allowed to leave for no more than 1-2 hours every other day or so. I check on my home, possibly go to the grocery, perform other dog visits, and attend church on Sunday.

Most Rover sitters require a meeting prior to accepting a request. At this meeting you can discuss your expectations of how long the sitter should be in your home, what type of care your dog(s) require, and other areas of responsibility for the sitter.
