Why is my dog foaming at the mouth?

Why is my dog foaming at the mouth? Is this a health concern? Should I take him to the vet?

Is your dog sniffing around when you take him outside? Or smelling something on the ground for a long time and then foaming or is the foaming just happening with a bunch of other symptoms?

Dogs can foam at the mouth for several reasons. It can be because they are nauseated, overstimulated, or even something to do with their mouths. Foaming at the mouth is not a normal symptom unless they are actively meeting new dogs (in which case it's excitement/stimulation). I would take your baby to the vet to make sure there is no GI upset or something else wrong.

Many possibilities . Dog ate bottle of Mr. Bubbles or some other Amway soap product. If your dog was running real fast and then just stopped abruptly. Maybe it ran out of gas. Dog drinks gas, runs fast, stops when reaches empty. Foam is from heavy oxygen to fuel ratio. Get em a tune up. If he ate baking soda, drank vinegar, he would produce foam. What kind of foam? Foam insulation, foam rubber, expansion foam, tel a foam? Hope this was helpful. Better get them to the vet.
