Why does my dog hump everything? He's fixed, and he's also five years old

My dog does the same thing and it's nothing too big of a deal. It just means it is stressed and the pleasure of humping reduces the stress. Or it can also mean that it when a puppy reach sexual maturity they mount other dogs for sexual contact.
