Do I need a business license to be a rover sitter? And if so, what type? Sole proprietorship? or Limited Liability Company? Or ?

Many localities require you to be licensed to board dogs in your home, the other services not so much, you should check with your local animal control and zoning office. How you structure your business, sole ownership or LLC is up to you.
