How does my sitter get access to my home?

We live in a condo community, so putting a lock box on a door is not an option. Do most people use a hide-a-key for their dog walkers? What other ways do people give dog walkers access to their homes?

I am a walker on Rover and owners either give me a key to their home or a passcode, yet some have lock boxes.
