Why does my dog chew on her foot?

The chewing could be due to allergies (such grass, mold, pollen, ragweed, dust, food, and flea bite) or it could be due to an embedded object that needs to be removed.
Constant chewing on foot can also be a sign of a brewing yeast infection, which dogs often get in their paws. If the paw/fur has a reddish tinge to it, that is further sign of a yeast infection. This can be treated with wipes or a spray from your vet.
