Does Rover have a different pay policy for long term reservations?

I recently had someone ask us to take two dogs (including a 3 month old puppy) for 82 days. She eventually turned down my cost, which is OK - I referred her to another host we love who charges less than we do. My question is would we have to wait until the entire 82 day booking was complete before we ever got paid? That's a long time to take care of dogs with no money coming in. I understood DV broke the reservation up into smaller reservations so was wondering if Rover does the same.
Thank you <3

As an independent contractor, you decide how you want extended stays to be processed and Rover will do it. DV doesn't automatically break up or reformat any stays. The sitter dictates that.

If you booked it as one very long stay, then, yes, the payment would be at the end on both Rover and DV. However, you could choose to have the client book it as a series of one week or two week stays, so that you do get paid earlier. However, I would bet that some customers may not agree but you could always suggest it.
