The dog would not stop peeing inside the house. Anxiety?

This is the 2nd time this happens to me (different dog the 1st time). During the meet and greet the dog was friendly, happy to play with mine, and running around the backyard. When they dropped him for the stay, the dog immediately switched to very shy/scared, and pees every 30 min inside the house. He refuses to move, so I carry him in my arms 4 or 5 times a day to the backyard. He pees in my arms while I do this, pees on the floors inside the house, and screams bloody murder when I touch him. I've tried calming him down with his favorite treats, special food, and playing, but nothing. If this is separation anxiety: how can I help him calm down and trust me? Thank you.

This is definitely anxiety. It would help to stay calm and not yell (not sure if you are). Raising of any voice makes the dog with anxiety crumble. Have you talked with the owners to see what they recommend?

Whenever I see such a significant behavior change like this one of my first thoughts is a medical issue. Although this definitely could be separation anxiety this also sounds like there may have been something causing the dog a lot of pain. Especially with him screaming bloody murder when you touch him I would say that points more to a medical condition than separation anxiety. You can often see this as well with dogs that suddenly become aggressive when no aggression has previously been exhibited.
