Anyone having issues coming up in the search for sitters since the merge?

Since the merge, I was curious to see where I came up in the search for sitters. I put in a street that is about eight minutes from here. I picked the dates and hit search. It is pulling up sitters 10 to 20 miles away. My profile doesn't come up. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Location has never really factored into Rover's search algorithm. Client have to realize that, if location is important, then they have to use the map to drill down to the right area. Putting in the zipcode you want is worthless.

If you are logged in, then you won't show up in search results. Open a different browser and try from there.

I checked where I came out just a couple of days ago. Totally dismal.

The search algorithm takes many things into consideration not just location; response times, number of reviews, number of repeats clients, and a lot more. You are not alone as search results are a sore point for many Rover sitters. To find yourself you must be logged out of Rover and possibly use a private session to search.
