Why does my dog keep panting?
My dog is panting a lot today, even if I just call him to me or play. Is this normal? Are there signs I should look for to make sure everything is okay?

There can be numerous reasons for why dogs may pant. Dogs pant because: They are hot, they are nervous, they are excited, they are sick or in pain If your dog isn't hot, hasn't just exercised, isn't nervous or excited about something, then it may be good to get it checked out by your vet. If your dog is older, his joints may be achy or he may be feeling sore and stiff.
