After a dog stays with me, I get the "review their stay" email from Rover. In that email, it says that it is used only for internal information. Does that mean my review is only viewed by Rover and that the owner does not see the review? I'm just curious if the owner gets to read the review and if it goes on the dogs profile?
Those reviews are only viewable by Rover. The owner does not know what you write or how you rate the dog. They also aren't available for you to go back and look at, so be sure not to include any information you'll want to reference later!
My take on these reviews is so that Rover has internal documentation for the dog. So if a future sitter reports the dog is aggressive, Rover can look at other sitter reviews for the dog and see if this is abnormal or not. I recommend also keeping notes yourself about each dog in case they request you again!
