Why does my dog tremble? Is he cold or does he have seizures? Should I take him to the vet?

He or she could be scared, having a seizure, be cold or have something wrong internally.
It could be from excitement, pain, old age, even nausea or even something serious -- like poisoning, kidney disease, or injury. It could range from joy that you're home, or it could be from eating toxic foods.
Dogs shake for many reasons. In your case your dog may be stressed or excited. Or she may have a serious illness like distemper or kidney disease. You may want to check with your vet to rule out any serious illness.
