Why does my dog burp after eating?
After my dog eats she lets out a big burp! Every time she eats. Why does she do this??

Chances are that your dog is eating too fast and getting too much air in her stomach. By burping, some air escapes. One solution is to purchase a slow feeding dog bowl. Sometimes switching foods can also cause this.
As long as your dog is not vomiting any food or coughing up blood while burping, there is little chance of a stomach problem being the culprit. Essentially, burping is caused by having too much air in the stomach. When you hear that little burp, you know that air is escaping from the esophagus.
