My dog does his thing where he sneezes right after he wakes up and I have no idea why! I don't think he is sick or anything, but the excessive sneezing worries me. Thoughts?
Dogs sneezing could mean he wants to play or he’s excited. It’s why some dogs sneeze when their owner comes home after work or just wakes up: he’s happy to see you and wants to play.
Like Walt mentioned, many dogs sneeze out of excitement. It could be that your pup is excited and happy to see you! However, if you're worried that it's something more - double check your dog's nose + eyes. Is there mucus? Is his nose watery? If so, it may be allergy related and you may want to consult your Vet.
