Why does my dog always follow me?

Some dogs are referred to as velcro dogs, in that they follow humans (not just limited to owners- can extend to family, friends, and care givers) everywhere they go. If you want to curb this behavior, you'll have to train them to go a specific place, by walking them back and telling them to stay.
