From my experience and testing, you will never show up if you are logged into Rover. I have used the map to drill down to my specific neighborhood, chose filters like fenced-in yard, etc,. but I can never see myself when logged in. Others have claimed that is not the case, but that is my experience here.
When I search for a house sitter in your area, you turn up #10 on the first page of results.
