As a Rover sitter you are an independent contract (IC) and not an employee. Rover does not supply you with a W2. There has been a lot of past questions about this, and Rover has some information in their Help section here: https://support.rover.com/hc/en-us/ar...

Really it all depends on how you receive the money you make on Rover (check or PayPal)! If you have further questions Rover Support and most sitters will suggest you contact a tax professional.

You are an independent contractor, as Carly said. You will use Schedule C to report your income and expenses from your Rover sitting assignments.
