Quick reaction is important. First, remove the stinger from the dog, to prevent continued poisons that could cause anaphylactic shock. If you have Diphenhydramine hcl tablets (a generic version of regular Benadryl), you can cut as needed to administer 1 MG per Lb. (so 12 LB dog = 12 MG and if tablet is 25 MG cut in half) and give up to 3 times a day and monitor for allergic reactions, such as swelling, weakness, difficulty breathing.
