How do I search dog sitting jobs as a dog sitter?

Sorry, Marykate, but Rover doesn't work that way. Dog owners search for sitters; they do not post "help wanted" type ads. Owners review sitters' profiles and may contact several to have meet 'n greets before deciding on one.
So you will need to create an attractive profile and do some self-promotion, as Moureene has described, in order to start getting jobs. Rover tends to put new sitters near the top of the search results listings so that will help.
Good luck!
Once you've signed up with Rover as a Sitter and your profile has been approved, then your options are to attract pet owners to your profile and make it more appealing. Pet owners can search through Sitter profiles but Sitters cannot see pet / pet owner's profiles until they reach out to the Sitter.
You can promote your profile on Craigslist, Nextdoor, local petcentric businesses, etc. You can also get business cards through the Rover store and hand them out at percentric businesses and to friends, family and acquaintances.
Essentially, you want to attract jobs to come to you! :)
All the best!
I recommend you get your friends and family to write some testimonials, since you have no reviews. https://www.rover.com/account/profile...
And you need to promote yourself locally Here’s a few resource articles that are helpful:
