My dog is bored, got any tips to keep him entertained?

Figure out what your dog enjoys doing most and what motivates him/her. Also consider physical constraints based on age, temperament, breed. S/he may be content going on strolls around the neighborhood or playing fetch in your backyard but try adding variety to your dog's day-to-day activities!

ENRICHMENT TOYS AND GAMES!! You can hide his meal in the house, kibble by kibble even, so they can find it and practice their sniffing skills! You can also buy or make a kong type toy (where you can stuff treats into it) and a dog has to find a way to get the treats out. Some people leave the tv on for their dog, I don`t like to do that, and some dogs are not really entertained by it. You can also buy a hollow bone or toy that you can fill with peanut butter for them to lick out.

Spending Time Together, train you dog, go on regular walks. Play hide and seek and fetch with your dog and other games. Hide some treats around the house for your dog to find after you leave. Consider getting a companion for your pet. If you have two or more dogs together, then they don't get as bored.
