No, tea tree oil is toxic for dogs. Please google search "tea tree harmful to dogs." You'll find a lot of information about how it can cause severe vomiting, tremors and seizures. If your dog shows signs of toxicity, bath it in dish soap and seek medical attention for anti-vomiting & IV treatment.

tea tree oil is safe for dogs and cats and effective only when it is diluted correctly – i.e., diluted in large amounts of water. The recommended ratio is 0.1-1.0 percent strength, to be dispensed topically. Oral application is not safe for your pet.

Yes you can use it on dogs. When used correctly and in a diluted form on pets, tea tree oil can be very effective in treating and preventing topical bacterial and yeast/fungal infections. Tea tree oil is an excellent anti-inflammatory, so it helps reduce skin inflammation that can lead to itchiness and irritation.
