Do Yorkies shed?

Yes they do, but it is not going to be like a dog that has fur, nor like dogs that have double coats (like huskies!). The shedding should be minimal.

Yes, as above, it is hair, so when there is a growth of new hair, the old hair will fall out.
Yorkies, like Schnauzers, Poodles, and Shih Tzus, have hair rather than fur and therefore do not undergo a shedding process. They occasionally lose hair, just like we do, but it's very minor compared to other dogs and isn't considered shedding. Hope this helps!
