What type of specific questions do you have about their care? If you aren't used to small dogs you have to consider if they can jump onto couches or beds. They will need smaller treats and most little dogs like to be in your lap all day.

Yorkies tend to have longer silky hair, so periodic brushing to make sure its not tangled or gathering leaves and grass. Small dogs also need more dental care.

Thanks

Yorkie are wonderful little dogs. Big personalities in a little bodies. They do require a good amount of maintenance. They need regular visits to the groomer. If you like a longer coat that requires dailey brushing. Also they have hair not fur so they need to be bathed more often than dogs with fur. And because they have hair they do get cold quickly. Also use a harness as you don't want any pressure on their throats. Many Yorkies have trachea issues which is very common for the breed. They are prone to dental issues so having their teeth checked and dentals every few years is a must. Because of their small size they do best with a very small kibble made for small or toy breeds. The same with treats, small. You have to be careful, they can escape easily due to their small size so make sure the yard is secure, no small openings that they can squeeze through. And give them lots of love.

What specifics were you looking for?

Yorkies are usually on the tiny side (less than 10lbs). They have "hair-like" fur and require frequent grooming.
