what does a balance question mean any ideas?
I see it all the time and it made me curious.

Yes, this, the "Rover Q&A Community" is the user forum. Are you asking in regard to a specific question posted here? If so, I'd recommend asking for clarification in that discussion thread, since out of context it's difficult to know exactly what was meant.

I would guess the ones you are referring to are questions about the payment system, such as why someone's account balance/pending balance (the amount of money currently, or soon to be, available for use or withdrawal) isn't what they expect it to be, or about the holding period between when the funds are earned and when they become available. However, depending on the context of the question, it may mean a variety of things. If you have questions about a specific topic that is already posted, asking them in that existing thread is probably your best option.
