If we're to become an employee is it possible to stay at the persons home with the dog?

I can't take a dog to my house I already have 3 of my own. If the client would allow me to would I be able to stay at their house with the dog?

I agree with the responses provided. It depends on the client. It's possible that as a traveling sitter, if their dog(s) might enjoy the company of your dog, you may be able to bring one of your dogs (I think the odds are much lower for the client being okay with three joining you). During the meet & greet and booking process, I always discuss this clearly with the client, so everyone shares the same understanding and agreement.

As others have mentioned, what you're considering is the travel sitting option that Rover offers. However, if you have pets of your own at home, be sure that you will be able to adequately care for your own pets as well as your clients'. In many instances, the client will expect you to stay in their home most of the time, including overnight. Some clients only need multiple daily visits for feeding, walks, and potty breaks, but in my experience most Rover users are hiring someone for the quality time they'll be spending with their pets, rather than just someone who will fulfill their most basic needs. Of course you may have someone else at home who can care for your dogs, but still. It's definitely worth considering. How much time are you willing to give up with your own pets?

I believe that is what travel sitting is. As a sitter you are able to offer in home care and/or travel sitting services.

it depends on each pet owner. Sometimes, yes.
