Rover says it's been a day since I've responded to a message but i answered right away

I received a text a fee hours ago while I was sleeping and then an hour or so later I received a text from river suggesting I answer because it's been a day. I don't want this to bring down my response speed. What do I do?

Those reminder texts are automatically generated, and I think just randomly pulled from a stock of reminder messages, rather than being specific to your particular situation. The response time on your profile should more accurately reflect your usual response time. Rover also doesn't penalize your response time for not replying overnight to late night or very early morning requests, though since I switched to a night shift at work and now get off at 4:30 am, those morning texts are in middle of the night for me, and my response time is increasing as a result.

Rover compiles the response rate data, not the client. If it has been only a few hours, then I wouldn't worry. But I do hate getting requests in the wee hours of the night, which means I can't reasonably be expected to respond for at least six to eight hours. Not much you can do about when people schedule their dogs' stays. Just be happy they do!
