While you cannot currently select the number of visits you would like specific to one date, what I would suggest is sending the request as 2x daily visits, and then mention in your message to the sitter that you will only be needing one visit on your arrival date. The sitter has the ability to adjust the total cost, so that you will only be charged for 3 visits.
What I worked out with my client is she'll book 3 visits Thurs and Sunday, then four visits Fri and Sat. She has to pay twice but that is what works best for her. Adjustments can be tricky sometimes. Even have to go through http://Rover.com support most of the time. So good luck.
Why not just have her the request as 4x daily visits for Thursday-Saturday, and then make a cost adjustment for her yourself by deducting the cost of two visits off of the total before accepting? You don't need to use Rover Support, you can do this yourself.
