Is there a certain question to ask when handing out bussiness cards?

If you strike up a conversation with a dog owner you can kinda slip it in like" I'm dog sitter if you need someone in the future here's my card" Or you can leave them on community boards like coffee shops, dog parks, etc.

Also I always give out a few to someone and ask them to recommend to their friends there is no better marketing than word of mouth. Pick up times are a great way to remind owners to let their friends know about you if they ever need a sitter and having extras of your cards makes it even more convenient!

My clients usually share their Rover Wheels on their pages & their friends ask about it. In order to reach a lot of people, I posted on our local shelters page about donating a percentage for the month to them. I reached over 5,000 people by making one posting.

Carry business cards everywhere! Casually talking with someone, hand it to them & tell them to call if they ever need you. My kids teachers even have cards. :D
