What is my dog mixed with?

My dog is a mixed breed dog and I'd love to figure out what she's mixed with! Is there an easy way to find out?

Dog genetic testing is fairly inexpensive and does not require a blood test. Sending a set of cheek swabs from inside your pup's mouth to Wisdom Panel (http://www.wisdompanel.com) will yield DNA-based insights that may help you understand your dog's unique appearance, behaviors and wellness needs. With more than 250 identified breeds, they draw from a large database with types and varieties covered, too. You may even discover a drug sensitivity or allergy in the testing that could save your dog's life. $55 is a great value when you consider that. My family is happy to be able to identify the traits and characteristics in our Chihuahua/Beagle/Lab/Schnauzer rescue pup thanks to Wisdom Panel.

Royal Canin has a simple blood test you can send out, which gives you the breakdown of your dog's genetics. You can find out more information here: http://www.royalcaningha.com/.

I tested my dog's DNA using a wisdom panel. Just make sure your dog does not interact with any other dogs, and doesn't exchange saliva via water bowls, treats, etc with any other dogs 72 hr before testing.

I was extremely happy, I expected the results and I didn't tell them what breeds my dog was. They were extremely helpful and it was great.
