Dogs with normal skin typically should be bathed once a month with a decent quality shampoo. They have some great dog shampoos on the market for all coat lengths and many different skin types. If your dog's skin has issues, you may want to try a sensitive skin shampoo and talk to your vet as you may need to bathe dogs that have allergies or certain types of skin issues more often. A good brushing between baths along with fish oil supplements and/or pumpkin can help your dog's coat stay shiny and healthy :)

I have a standard poodle. I only take him to the groomer for a bath/haircut once every 8 weeks.

Poodles require lots of maintenance! I personally have a goldendoodle and I bather her every two weeks, groom once a month and brush her about two times a week to keep her looking fluffed and beautiful!

Dog skin is not quite like humans, you should try not to bathe more than 2x per month or you might dry out the skin, especially in the winter. Try an oatmeal shampoo to soothe, and make sure to brush every other day

bathing too often can dry out their skin and cause irritation i recommend to my grooming clients they bathe every 3-4 weeks unless otherwise told by your vet or they roll in something. you can use a dog safe cologne to keep them fresh between baths

As long as your groomer is using a safe shampoo, as often as once per day, but normally every 2,4,6 or 8 weeks. Try a mobile groomer!
