I accepted a Rover request as the Rover sitter through a text and now i can't find the conversation in the website and am afraid it is a scam. I would like to cancel my service. How do I cancel my service?

The request was from Lyle G (according to my text). However, when I sent a text later after accepting it, Lyle G says I have the incorrect number. Very odd.

Please advise.

Hi Jacquelyn: If the request isn't under current or pending stays on your desktop or on the app, then I would consider it null. You can always contact Rover Support at [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team] just to be sure.

I agree. Requests from legit Rover clients always show up on the website and in your inbox.
