How does the coupon code work?
Does Rover deduct the discount of my coupon code from my pay?

They don't. The $20.00 comes from Rover, you get paid the full amount minus the Rover fee.
If you recommended someone and are not available for their dates and they need to find another rover family sitter for the first sit, ask them to use your code when they schedule. That is a perk.
Additionally, if you give someone your code, the client will get $20 off regardless of whom they choose to care for their pet.
