Are my profile requirements factored into the algorithm used to show my name to potential customers?

I recently hosted an unsuccessful meet and greet for a very large, active lab puppy. My old dogs were not appreciative of the level of energy brought to the meeting by this young (and sweet) giant.

It made me wonder if http://Rover.com automatically filters out dogs under 1 year old through our preferences (I have set my preference for no puppies).

There is so much information available on the site but sometimes it is difficult to sift through.
