What company runs the background check for Rover?

I got a sketchy email and I'm not sure it is actually from the company saying my birthdate was invalid so I needed to submit a clearer picture of my drivers license. I feel like its someone pretending to be the company to scam me for information.

Checkr is the company that Rover retains to do background checks. You should contact Rover Support to ask what, if any, contact that company would have with you. Did the email purport to have something to do with your Rover application? It doesn't seem likely IMO that Checkr would contact you at all, especially by email. Sounds like someone else is phishing you.
