My rates don't match up?

Hello, I have received a dog/house sitting job for two dogs for upcoming weekend. On the rates page, it states at the top, House sitting $25 per night/per dog, yet it then states Additional dog(s) $10 per night. This is confusing to me since the first rate does say under the dollar amount "per night/dog"....that would seem that it's $25 per dog per night. Yet, there is a lower charge for additional dogs. I will keep this as is for now, since the owner is already expecting what your calculations show on the page, but in the past, it's been $25 per dog per night.
Can you tell me why there are two options for charges for additional dogs? Thank you and I hope this makes sense.

If you want to charge the same fee for each dog in the same family, you need to put 0 in the field that says Additional dogs. For dog #2+, I charge $10 less for boarding, $5 less for drop in visits, and $20 less when house sitting.

Some sitters charge a lower rate for the additional dog(s) from the same family, which is why there is a rate category. They believe the owner should only be charged an incremental amount since they are already at the house and it doesn't take much more to care for another dog.

If you do not want to offer this discount, then you should remove it from your rate table. Since you entered $10, Rover did charge the client accurately
