There's nothing you can do on Rover until your application to be a sitter or walker has been approved and that does require a Social Security Number. Obviously you could start dogsitting outside of Rover so that those customers would be a in a position to provide testimonials for this site.

In the meantime you could get yourself prepared by getting supplies and reading all the material here on how to be the best possible sitter you can be.
