Who here has actually placed a Rover yard sign in a dog park?

I'm wondering about placing a Rover.com yard sign near a dog park. Recently, I read an article in a Rover.com blog here: https://www.rover.com/blog/powerful-w...

3 - Put up Lawn Signs

Try placing lawn signs near dog parks for major visibility year round. “I place Rover.com yard signs near entrance gates of all dog parks in my neighborhood and the surrounding area. – Brad S.”

This made me wonder if we are allowed to do such a thing if it is not on our property line like where our physical house is so I am a bit leery about it. I live right across the street from a dog park but my house faces the opposite direction with another house in back of me that would be facing the street where the park is. If this is a stupid question I'm sorry. Any thoughts would be appreciated or any idea's what I could do in my circumstance. Thanks!

I think it's a great idea and plan to crete my own sign as Rover doesn't (as yet ;) offer one. I view it as just posting a concert poster on a lamp post. I don't think I'll invest in anything like a metal frame realty sign, but just some laminated paper that I can zip tie to a tree or fence. If it gets removed no great loss. But I'm not too fearful of any repercussions. Some dog parks have bulletin boards could include just this sort of promotion.

I was on the rover promo area a few weeks ago and they offer lawn signs now, as well as car magnets, though I don't know about getting one of those. People put signs up everywhere, I think as long as it's public property you're good.

Thank you!

I haven't seen any Rover signs at our local dog park yet, but there are notices posted occasionally (dogs for adoption, etc) posted on the entrance gate.

I figure why not - like most things the worst you might get is a "no, you can't do that". :)

You can put them up. Worst thing they'll do is take them down and throw them away.
