Why was I not told I would be wait listed for dog walking, dog day care and house visits before I went through the rather extensive application process and authorized a back ground check?

N/A, I think the question explains everything.

I was also wait listed for dog walking/drop in visits and none of my potential clients can find me without using my unique URL, which I share on social media, but people don't always have it readily available when they want to search. It's not fair that others can be found easily & many of us can't

It looks like you are no longer being waitlisted, as I can see all the categories of service you provide, as would any potential clients.

The best way to get an answer is to email support@rover.com There are many experienced as well as new sitters that were placed on the wait list for these service, sometime after having previously provided them to Rover clients. Your listing will still appear under boarding (default if no service checked) search.

I don't think it's a waitlist as much as a waiting period while Rover reviews your application to make sure you're legit. Usually takes a day or two.

It takes longer than 1 or 2 days. I have passed the background check and I have been on the waiting list for 3 months.
