About: Seulement bien avec eux! Jeux et promenade. Présence constante. Repas selon vos indications.

About: Experience taking care of many animals including goats, chickens, horses, bunnies, pigs, guinea pigs, and dogs of all sizes! Experience with both small, large, and all dogs in between! I have been a long time user of Rover for my own dog Ham for many years! I have had such a great experience using Rover when I am traveling out of state that I want to give you and your dog that same experience whenever you need to travel and leave your dog behind. I have one dog Ham who is 9 years old and male he is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and takes regular monthly heart worm and flea medicine. I will only accept booking that I have "Meet and Greet" to see how they get along with Ham and make sure they are comfortable and confident together. I can accept 2 dogs per night (will accommodate for repeat client) Once or twice a day walks for up to an hour (weather permitting), your dog will be comfortable, happy, and well cared for while your gone . Your dog must be dog friendly, vaccinated and flea treated. We have plenty of rooms in our house and a fenced in backyard for them to explore around. They are welcome to sleep anywhere at the house that makes them the most comfortable. I am happy to travel to meet and greet and can also do pickup at your place for a fee. Thank You, Alexandra I am self employed so I have a very flexible schedule that can be tailored around your pet. Normally I am home all day Thursday through Sunday. Dog friendly home with lots of walking paths and large fenced in backyard! Entire home is pet friendly with property close to dog parks and hiking trails. I also have a dog friendly space inside the home that can be set up to fit your dogs needs.

About: Lifetime Farm Experience Growing up on a farm with five dogs, and multiple cats gave me an intuitive understanding of animal behavior and means I can handle almost anything they throw at me. A 2-Acre Private Playground & Trail Access Unlike standard suburban yards, my 2-acre property offers your dog ample space to safely run, explore, and play on a long line. Sorry still not fenced in for dogs. For high-energy breeds, I provide structured walks on scenic local trails right from the property. Constant On-Site Presence Because I work on site, your dog gets continuous companionship, supervision, and routine pot breaks. They are never left alone for long stretches. Because I work from home, pet care isn’t something I squeeze into my schedule—it’s built into my entire daily routine. Here is how guest dogs fit right into my everyday flow: Morning (7:00 AM – 9:00 AM): Fresh Air & Breakfast Your dog and I kick off the day with an early bathroom break, morning feedings, and a leisurely stroll around the property or an energizing trail walk before I start my workday. Midday (12:00 PM – 1:30 PM): Farm Play & Bathroom Breaks Since I work on site, midday is dedicated to play and outdoor time. Guest dogs get dedicated play sessions on our 2 acres, a mid-day pot break, and a chance to stretch their legs while I do afternoon farm chores. Afternoon (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM): Quiet Workday Companionship During work hours, dogs relax nearby—whether resting in the same room as me or relaxing after their afternoon play. High-energy dogs or puppies get periodic check-ins and quick breaks as needed. Evening (5:30 PM – 8:00 PM): Trail Walks, Dinner & Wind Down Once the workday ends, your dog and I head out for an evening walk along local trails or extended play in the yard. After dinner, guest dogs settle in for feeding time and cozy evening downtime. Night (9:00 PM – 10:00 PM): Final Potty Break & Bedtime A final night-out in the yard ensures everyone is comfortable and settled before heading to sleep in a secure, quiet environment. Your dog isn't just getting a place to crash—they're getting a full countryside vacation! Because I work on site, I’m around pretty much 24/7 to throw the ball, give belly rubs, and keep everyone happy. Here’s what life looks like for your pup at my place: Constant House Company: No sitting in a crate for 8 hours waiting for someone to get home. Pups hang out right next to my desk while I work, getting routine breaks and endless affection. 2 Acres of Safe, Off-Leash or Long-Line Fun: I have 2 wide-open acres of countryside to explore. Since the property is unfenced, safety is my absolute top priority—guest dogs are kept securely on long lines for sprawling fetch games, or walked on-leash unless you’ve explicitly cleared them for voice-recall off-leash play. Trail Walk Adventures: For dogs with energy to burn, I skip the boring sidewalk trots and head straight out for scenic, leashed trail walks right off the property. Farm-Savvy Supervision: Growing up around dogs and cats means reading animal body language is second nature to me. All outdoor time is 100% supervised and controlled. Your Routine, Maintained: Tailored meals, meds, bedtime quirks—whatever keeps your dog feeling secure, I stick to it. If they love crate sleeping, great! If they prefer a plush dog bed by the window, even better. Photo Updates: Expect regular photos and videos of your pup living their best farm life while you're away!

About: I’ve lived with dogs since I was a child, so I understand their language and needs naturally. While I’m happy to care for dogs of all ages, I especially love spending time with senior dogs. I’m a fan of slow walks, gentle company, and making sure your pup feels safe and relaxed while you’re away. For me, pet care isn't just a job—it’s about treating your dog like a member of my own family, just as I’ve done since I was a kid. et care is my favorite way to transition from the workday to the weekend! I dedicate my weekday evenings after 5:00 PM to active walks and companionship, while my weekends are fully open for longer visits and quality time. Because I focus my care during these specific windows, your dog gets my undivided attention and a consistent routine they can look forward to. Whether at your place or mine, your dog will be treated like family. My home is perfectly set up for furry guests, featuring a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor sniffing and a large, open-concept basement where they can stretch out and play. With two animal-loving teenagers at home, there is never a shortage of attention or belly rubs! I love providing a lively yet supervised environment where dogs can feel truly at home and loved throughout their stay.

About: I have always been around dogs and other pets since I was a baby, and have always loved and cherished them. As an adult we have raised and taken care of three cats and dogs. While in the military for 10 years, I was responsible for taking care of many other pets, especially dogs, for other service members while they traveled or deployed. My dog Nigel and I tend to make fast friends with any other dogs we meet! I recently got out of the military, and moved back home to Vermont. I am currently not working, and will be working on online college courses from home for the foreseeable future. Therefore I have a very flexible schedule, and can make all the time necessary to keep any pets entertained and well taken care of! I have a very sweet four year old male English Cream Golden Retriever, named Nigel, who loves friends more than anything (other than treats) and will be my permanent doggie daycare assistant. We have a large 2.5 acre property that is partially fenced, with large yard space to run in, and wooded nature trails in the back for walks and lots of sniffs. We are also about 5 minutes away from a beautiful dog park and miles of nature trails that we try to go to every day.

About: Hey! This is Chelsea! I’m a dog person! I have ten years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, including multi-dog households. I’m also a pet groomer:) I’m currently self employed so I have a lot of time staying with my furry friends:) I understand that every pet is unique, so I always take the time to learn their routines, personalities, and special needs. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, playtime, basic grooming, or simply keeping them company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I provide a calm, clean, and safe home environment, and I’m very attentive to details such as hygiene, behavior changes, and stress signals. I’m especially comfortable handling energetic dogs, anxious pets, and dogs that need structure and consistency. Clear communication with pet parents is very important to me. I’m happy to provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away.

About: Bonjour!

About: I genuinely love pets. I give them all the love, care and attention they can get as I do to my own cats and dog. ♥️ I work from home so I’m close to them all the time and can take several potty breaks and nice walks in the park that is 3 min away. Beware that I have 2 cats, so I can only take cat friendly dogs. 😊 I also have shared custody of a golden retriever, so she might be here too 😊 My wife also works from home and takes care of the dogs with me.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

There are 63 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Venise-en-Québec. About 78% of Venise-en-Québec sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's leash and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalized care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Venise-en-Québec commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in QC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines such as the DHPP or DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
