About: I have been a pet owner my whole life of every animal you can imagine, and I've been pet sitting and walking dogs since I was a little girl for neighbors, friends, and family! Now I work professionally as a wildlife technologist, dog groomer, and zookeeper. I absolutely love animals of every kind, from reptiles and amphibians to our beloved furry children. I'm happy to take great care of your beloved pets for as long as you need or simply take them for walks ❤️ I am currently free 24/7 for pet-sitting in home or last minute walks so feel free to reach out if you're in need! I'm happy to sit puppies and seniors as well :) I will follow any rules for the care/feeding as well as training regimens you have of your pets in your home, I'm happy to bring your dogs on 2 or more walks per day and give all your animals the cuddles they deserve. I will clean up after them, I.e. pick up poops in the backyard and clean cat litter boxes. I'm also trained and happy to administer meds/injections if they are currently under treatment from the vet and I can bathe/clip nails/etc if needed, all for a small additional fee.
About: Owned dogs growing up, adopted an old dog in recent years who passed. Lots of exposure to animals. Just looking to hang out with some dogs on my days off. Not ready to adopt a new dog because I do remote camp work, 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. I do shift work- 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. I don’t work during my days off so, lots of time to hang out with dogs. Hang out with them, give them love and affection, walk them, take them to park to play fetch, go for a hike, socialize them with other dogs if they are capable.
About: With years of assisting a friends dog walking company, I have experience with a wide variety of dogs. I have house sat for a variety of families and couples. I am passionate about animals and providing the appropriate care for your beloved pet. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I love spending time outdoors, staying active, and creating a calm, loving environment for animals. I have experience caring for animals of different ages and needs, and I prioritize walks, playtime, companionship, and maintaining each pet’s regular routine while their owners are away. Always paying close attention to the owners instruction and ensuring I modify my routine to best suit the dog! I am adaptable, energetic and excited to meet your pet!
About: I have have been walking and caring for friends and neighbours dogs for the last 10 years. I live an active lifestyle and can give a younger dog the activity they need or I can walk slow and give a senior dog the attention they need as well. Growing up we always had a dog and they were a valued member of the family. My current living situation does not allow me to have a dog but I would love to care for yours! I work in the hospitality industry and am currently between jobs therefore my schedule is fairly flexible. Once I return to work I will be available in the late afternoon/evenings or during the day on my days off (likely week days) At this time I am unable to watch pets in my personal home. In clients home's I care for pets by giving them lots of attention and following recommendations provided for each specific dog.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Terrace choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
