Personalized care for your dog or cat - Terrace

About: I’ve always had a pet around growing up, and since I’ve started bouncing around BC/other countries, I’ve filled the void by pet sitting, fostering and volunteering. From young pups to old fellas, whether it’s hanging out for just a few hours or recurring visits year after year, I love getting to know new personalities I work 8-4, with the ability to bring a dog into the office (if behaviour allows), or provide them with a safe space to hang through out the day. Outside of work hours, I spend the rest of my time outdoors, hiking and exploring- so giving the pet adequate exercise is not a problem. I have a fenced yard and a single story house. All appliances/storage are pet-proofed so there’s no access to goodies if the pet is curious. Happy to follow any other pet-specific instructions you may have.

About: Owned dogs growing up, adopted an old dog in recent years who passed. Lots of exposure to animals. Just looking to hang out with some dogs on my days off. Not ready to adopt a new dog because I do remote camp work, 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. I do shift work- 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. I don’t work during my days off so, lots of time to hang out with dogs. Hang out with them, give them love and affection, walk them, take them to park to play fetch, go for a hike, socialize them with other dogs if they are capable.

About: I have experience pet sitting dogs, cats and horses. As well I have done dog walking and am happy to work on training you are doing with your beloved pet. I am currently working part time with a lot of free time to spend with your sweet pets. I can do walks anytime of day on my days off. I will not be able to host your pet at my place. At your place I would be happy to follow the animals normal routine as to not cause anxiety with their family away.

About: I have have been walking and caring for friends and neighbours dogs for the last 10 years. I live an active lifestyle and can give a younger dog the activity they need or I can walk slow and give a senior dog the attention they need as well. Growing up we always had a dog and they were a valued member of the family. My current living situation does not allow me to have a dog but I would love to care for yours! I work in the hospitality industry and am currently between jobs therefore my schedule is fairly flexible. Once I return to work I will be available in the late afternoon/evenings or during the day on my days off (likely week days) At this time I am unable to watch pets in my personal home. In clients home's I care for pets by giving them lots of attention and following recommendations provided for each specific dog.

About: With years of assisting a friends dog walking company, I have experience with a wide variety of dogs. I have house sat for a variety of families and couples. I am passionate about animals and providing the appropriate care for your beloved pet. I work Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. I have an hour lunch break. I typically provide 2-3 walks per day and always go home at lunch to let the dog out! I’m free every evening for long dog walks! Always paying close attention to the owners instruction and ensuring I modify my routine to best suit the dog! I am adaptable, energetic and excited to meet your pet!
