About: I have always grown up around dogs. I frequently dog sat, and trained neighbors dogs from a young age. My approach is calm and direct while giving dogs the time and space to process, learn, and make their own decisions. I'm also currently working on completing an Animal Welfare and Behaviour course to further my knowledge. I'm currently between jobs so am quite flexible for the current time. I like to go for walks or hikes almost daily and when I'm home, I spend lots of time with my cat Chloe. I am very respectful of others belongings. With pets, I ensure that we vary between periods of calm and periods of high energy. I will ask to understand what behaviors are tolerated in your household, and will respect and maintain your boundaries with your pets.

About: I've been owned by several cats in my life and have loved each one with lots of care and amusement. I've never had a dog but I love them too! I have dog-sat a few times with no problems at all. My preference would be to cat-sit/house-sit for people who are going away for a few days, weeks, whatever. I work part-time and so I'm available almost any day of the week for cat or dog care. I am happy to take dogs for walks, feed and scratch behind their ears! For cats, who prefer their own environment, I'm happy to house-sit at the same time, clean litter boxes, feed and brush and cuddlw them - if they want to be cuddled! My cat, Lucy, a beautiful Calico, recently passed away at the age of 17 and I was heartbroken; we had been companions for over 16 years. I miss her terribly and being able to look after other cats would be a joy for me. I would be happy to go to someone else's house and care for their cat(s). I can't look after a dog in my home.
