About: Je suis venu au Québec il y a environ 3 ans avec mon chien border collie. Un grand changement pour elle et pour moi, mais que nous avons bien maîtrisé. Je suis biologiste et pas seulement pour des raisons professionnelles, aussi souvent que possible dans la nature. J'essaie de faire des activités comme la randonnée, le jogging, le ski de fond, etc. aussi souvent que possible et de faire participer mon chien lorsque c'est possible. Être avec une plus grosse meute est d'autant mieux et il n'y a pas de place pour l'ennui. Pour moi, il est important de donner à mon chien, ainsi qu'aux chiens dont je m'occupe, suffisamment de variété et d'exercice, ainsi que suffisamment de repos lorsque je suis de retour à la maison.

“Sofia stayed at our home for 10-days, looking after our dog (Toshi) and our cat (Gustav), while we were away for a wedding outside the country. Sofia was in communication with us and provided regular updates on the animals. Toshi and Gustav bonded nicely with Sofia and she took very good care of them. She followed our instructions on the feeding of the animals and letting Toshi out in the backyard as required. Sofia even made the effort to take Toshi out for walks but he is a big dog (127 lbs) and the winter weather was very harsh (-27 degrees centigrade temperatures) so this was not an easy task! We received regular updates and photos of our pets during this time away for us and she asked all relevant questions related to the functioning of the home. She even cleaned up the house before she left here. I would definitely recommend her to others who are looking for a trusted house sitter.”

I only have a cat at home Luna she likes dogs . They are part of our family and treat them like kids . I ‘m a dogs person but I can take care of cats too and I just got one recently and my dog and her get along very well . I love to cuddle with animals ..love when they fallow me all over the house and love to give them treats .I change their water regularly make sure they have lots of love and care and talk to them and give them a little paw massage ;) . About: I have always grown up around dogs. I frequently dog sat, and trained neighbors dogs from a young age. My approach is calm and direct while giving dogs the time and space to process, learn, and make their own decisions. I'm also currently working on completing an Animal Welfare and Behaviour course to further my knowledge. I'm currently between jobs so am quite flexible for the current time. I like to go for walks or hikes almost daily and when I'm home, I spend lots of time with my cat Chloe. I am very respectful of others belongings. With shy or nervous dogs, I always let them approach on their own terms and give them the freedom to take breaks or step away when needed. I also believe in balancing physical and mental stimulation. Along with fulfilling walks, I enjoy incorporating enrichment like sniffing games, confidence-building activities, and gentle training. These activities work well for high-energy dogs and can also help more nervous or shy dogs feel comfortable and confident. I have experience caring for large and small dogs, puppies, and senior dogs, as well as administering medication including pills, liquids, topical treatments, and ear drops. I am very comfortable following vet instructions and care routines, and I tend to be very organized and attentive to detail. With a persistent attention to detail, I frequently look out for when an animal is trying to communicate a need, such as them wanting water, to play, to eat, to be pet, etc. I always ensure they have fresh, clean water and that they are fed the appropriate amount and on time. I also like to spend quality time with them giving them belly rubs and and behind-the-ear scratches. About: Ive been fortunate to have always been surrounded by dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals at my parents rehabilitation center. I volunteered for the SPCA as a trained dog-walker for close to a decade and am unfazed by any behavioural /aggressive traits as I’ve fostered a range of rescues and owned seniors throughout my 20s. About: I grew up with 30+ bunnies in my backyard, and had 3 cats. My mom still has 2 rescued dogs and 4 rescued cats and 1 bird that i babysit sometimes while working from home. I currently live with my sister that has a small pugchi mix so i’m used to being the babysitter for her as well when she goes to work or on trips. I took care of 2 ex-boyfriend’s dogs that were a german shepherd and a golden retriever. I work from home 100% of the time (so I can stay for as long as needed and give your home and furry friends all the love and attention they deserve!) All i need is for you to have reliable Wi-Fi i can connect to in order to work. Im able to give your pet attention throughout the whole day and go for potty breaks when needed. Walks would be before work, during lunchbreak and after work. I speak FR and EN. I can give you updates and pictures as much as you need to feel like your baby is safe. I’m a very calm person and would be working on my computer wether it’s a weekday or weekend so your home is in good hands. I can also do a house clean for a fee if you’re interested.

About: I've always been in love with pets specially dogs, cats and birds. I usually take care of my friends pumpkins while their away and keep them happy and healthy. I actually believe in this quote from Milan K: "Dogs are our link to paradise". Aren't they? Luckily I have flexible working hours so I can adjust my schedule based on your need to spend quality time with your pet and do the work later! It is unbearable for me to see a bored dog or cat. I will play with them without feeling the time and make sure they have their food and medications.
