About: Depuis mon jeune âge, je côtoie des chiens. Durant mon enfance, on en a eu deux avec lesquels j'ai grandi. J'adore être en leur compagnie, les dorloter et faire en sorte qu'ils passent toujours un bon moment en ma compagnie. J'ai un golden retriever de 5 ans avec lequel je passe tout mon temps. Je l'ai depuis ses 2 mois. Je joue avec lui, je le sors, je le dresse, je le brosse, je le nourris et je l'amène chez le vétérinaire au besoin. Bref, c'est mon bébé! C'est avec ce même état d'esprit que je serais avec votre animal. Pour moi, il mérite la meilleure vie possible. Je serai attentive à leurs besoins, j'irai à leur rythme. Je ne travaille pas actuellement donc, je suis disponible en tout temps (matin, midi, soir et fins de semaine). De plus, j'ai une bonne endurance physique donc, je peux marcher plusieurs kilomètres si votre animal a un niveau d'énergie élevé comme le mien. J'ai appris la propreté, la marche en laisse et les commandes de bases à mon chien alors qu'il n'avait que 3 mois. Je lui donne tous les soins nécessaires depuis qu'on l'a accueilli chez nous; il y a 5 ans. Je ne travaille pas actuellement donc, je suis disponible en tout temps (matin, midi, soir, fins de semaines). Lorsque je vais recommencer à travailler, ce sera à temps partiel donc, j'aurais toujours du temps pour promener vos pitous ! J'ai une grande maison clôturée et un grand sous-sol (si votre chien a besoin de son espace).J'ai un golden retriever de 5 ans très gentil, sociable et adore jouer avec les autres chiens !

About: Many years of dog and cat rescue, also I have had my own dogs and cats since I was a child. I can take care of all sizes and any pets with issues. I can administer medication and any other special needs. Covering the Montreal area for overnight stays. I work from home and can work around the pets routine. Lovely rural location and happy to collect and drop off if needed. Weekends are also fine. All my pets are treated as my own, my house is very clean and tidy and I have been part of animal rescue for many years.

I pay close attention to body language and subtle cues like freezing, yawning, or disengaging. When a dog seems overwhelmed, I focus on helping them feel safe and settled by creating space, choosing calmer routes or environments, or redirecting them toward something grounding. With shy or nervous dogs, I always let them approach on their own terms and give them the freedom to take breaks or step away when needed. I also believe in balancing physical and mental stimulation. Along with fulfilling walks, I enjoy incorporating enrichment like sniffing games, confidence-building activities, and gentle training. These activities work well for high-energy dogs and can also help more nervous or shy dogs feel comfortable and confident. I have experience caring for large and small dogs, puppies, and senior dogs, as well as administering medication including pills, liquids, topical treatments, and ear drops. I am very comfortable following vet instructions and care routines, and I tend to be very organized and attentive to detail. Above all, I genuinely care about each animal’s wellbeing and individuality. I use patience, positive reinforcement, and observation as the foundation of my care, and I always do my best to make sure every pet feels safe, understood, and cared for. I’m currently a work-from-home professional so I am quite flexible time and space wise. I am available at virtually any time and can readily offer overnight care in your home while you’re away. With a persistent attention to detail, I frequently look out for when an animal is trying to communicate a need, such as them wanting water, to play, to eat, to be pet, etc. I always ensure they have fresh, clean water and that they are fed the appropriate amount and on time. I also like to spend quality time with them giving them belly rubs and and behind-the-ear scratches. I also look out for their safety by keeping things that might be dangerous out of reach as well as checking in on them frequently to make sure they are doing well :)
